In 2024, in the run-up to the 80th Airborne commemoration, Albert Heijn Ger Koopman from Driel, in collaboration with the Foundation, published a memorable book in the form of a collector’s picture book.

Volunteers from the Foundation took it upon themselves to realize this. The result is a beautiful book that shows in words and images what happened in Driel around the days of the landing of the Polish soldiers.

The compilers have connected the past with the present so that you not only get an impression of the historical locations but also a glimpse into the current situation of the locations described. Attention is paid to the relationships that have been created and built up with the Poles.
